By March of 1933 the Barrow Gang had grown to Bonnie, Clyde, Clyde’s brother Buck, Blanch, and W.D. Jones. The group took refuge in a garage apartment in Joplin, Missouri. The cops started to close in, which resulted in a shootout. Two cops died, and Clyde and Jones were shot.
The group then proceeds to steal a Ford and ended up plunging off
of a bridge. Bonnie was pinned underneath the vehicle that caught fire. Some
neighbors try to help and call the cops. Two policemen respond, but the group
quickly killed them off and fled the scene, receiving no medical attention for
Bonnie.
